Day & Grace Preview — Privacy Policy

Your prayer activity stays on your device

The app stores favorites, completed or self-reported practice, practice dates and time zones, language and appearance preferences, scenery choices, and reminder settings on your device. Practice summaries are calculated there. Search queries and filters stay in app memory and are not sent to us or to an AI service.

The current beta uses a bundled catalog. It does not require an account, connect to social networks, upload personal prayer activity, use advertising or analytics SDKs, or send your prayer activity to voice or AI providers. Subscriptions and microphone recording are not active in this beta.

Notes, sharing and reminders

A personal note draft and its card preview stay in the current app session. When you choose to share your note through the iOS share sheet, only your typed note goes to the app or recipient you select; the card preview stays in the app. That service's own privacy rules apply. Review your note before sharing, particularly if it includes personal information.

Reminders are scheduled locally through iOS with generic notification text. Notification permission and lock-screen visibility are controlled in iOS Settings.

Apple TestFlight

Apple operates beta distribution. TestFlight provides Apple and the developer with tester information, installation and usage information, crash reports, and feedback you submit. Feedback screenshots or attachments can contain information visible on your screen. These are separate from the app's local prayer records. Contacting us

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you send. Mail to hello@dayandgrace.app is routed by Cloudflare to a Gmail inbox. We use those messages to respond, provide support and investigate beta feedback. Please send only information needed for your request; you do not need to send your prayer history or private health details. Cloudflare and Google process email under their applicable privacy terms.

We keep support correspondence while it is needed to handle the request and related issues. You can ask us to delete correspondence we hold by emailing the contact above; legal obligations or unresolved issues may require retaining some information. Apple controls the retention of data held through TestFlight.

This website

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this page and processes ordinary connection information, such as IP address and request headers, to deliver and protect the website. This page has no forms, advertising, analytics scripts or application cookies. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its processing.

Control and deletion

You can remove favorites and correct or delete practice records in the app. The personal-data reset removes the app's personal records and owned preferences after the local save succeeds. You can disable reminders in the app and change notification permission in iOS Settings. Deleting the app may remove its local data. iOS backup and restore behavior can affect preferences and local files; we do not promise that no data can enter an operating-system backup. The app does not provide cloud synchronization of prayer activity.

We do not sell personal information or use prayer activity for advertising. Local prayer records are not held on our server, so we cannot recover or delete them remotely. For requests about information you sent us, contact hello@dayandgrace.app. For Apple's data, use Apple's Data and Privacy portal.

Changes

We will update this policy when the beta's data practices change and show the new effective date. Features such as accounts, subscriptions, social imports, remote catalogs or voice services will need an updated explanation before they change how personal information is handled.
